  1. Oh I see.

I was speaking about this with my brother the other day. I really miss the singles court. But now of course the doubles and singles championships are held together. The doubles championships used to be held in India. The singles court gave the year end tournament a special feel to it.

I was at the 02 arena last night for the ATP world finals, great venue!

  2. No the fact there are no doubles alleys LOL it looks really strange 🙂

  3. Do you mean because it was a carpet court?

Hanover changed to hard court in 1998 and 1999. Corretja won it in 1998 beating Moya and Sampras in 1999 beating Agassi.

Hanover was a transition to this decade because now many indoor tournaments are hard court.
